The
Saturday, January 10 Met Opera "La Rondine" simulcast is sold out at
the Crossgates Regal 18, but there is an encore performance at the at 7
pm on Wednesday, January 21 that will be attended by David MacGregor
and others. Please contact him if you also plan to attend (see
newsletter for contact info). Future live simulcasts on January
24, February 7, March 7, March 21, and May 9 will also probably sell

opera is La Rondine (New Production) by Puccini. From the Met Opera
website: "Angela Gheorghiu and Roberto Alagna provide the star power to
deliver this ravishing romance from the world's most popular opera
composer. Gheorghiu plays the kept woman who gambles on true love, and
Alagna is the man who makes her question the cost of her glittering
existence. Nicolas Joël directs the new production of this
gorgeously melodic look at love."

of her lover, Edgardo. Baritone Mariusz Kwiecien is her tyrannical
brother. Mary Zimmerman's hit production is staged as a Victorian ghost
story."

your tickets now since the Regal 18 sells out both available screens

similar) or going to the theater. Maybe someone wants to organize a
movie night?
